Treatment Services
I specialize in the treatment of trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as well as couple/marital/family therapy. After becoming trained in EMDR Therapy and witnessing the benefits of this treatment approach, I became Certified in EMDR and am one of only a few EMDRIA Approved Consultants in the area, assisting other clinicians with becoming Certified in EMDR.
I offer a range of treatment services, including:
PTSD and Trauma Treatment
I provide individual, couple, and family therapy to assist clients with addressing a variety of concerns related to the experience of trauma, such as surviving childhood physical and/or sexual abuse, military sexual trauma, sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. I am an EMDRIA Certified Therapist in EMDR Therapy, a research-based treatment for trauma and PTSD. I am trained in The Flash Technique, which may be used during EMDR Therapy to reduce the disturbance associated with intense trauma memories, as well as in the Recent Traumatic Events (R-TEP) Protocol.
Individual Therapy
I provide individual therapy to assist clients with addressing experiences such as traumatic events, PTSD, relationship concerns, anxiety, and grief.
Couple and Family Therapy
I provide couple/relationship/family therapy to assist clients with addressing concerns such as the relational impact of trauma, communication challenges, infidelity, financial stressors, blended families, divorce adjustment, parenting, and substance use.
Pre-Marital Therapy
For couples seeking pre-marital therapy, I am a Registered Pre-Marital Course Provider with the Escambia County Clerk of the Court. As of April 20, 2023, there is a discounted marriage license fee for couples with completed premarital counseling certificates. Payment and Insurance Coverage
The cost for an initial appointment is $150. This appointment is 1 hour in length. Subsequent appointments are $125 for a 50-minute therapy appointment.
Payment is expected at the time of your appointment. Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check, and major credit cards.
If you have mental health coverage, I can provide the documentation needed so that you can self-submit a claim to your insurance company, if applicable.
